How to use UW print logos
UW–Madison logos are protected by trademark licensing and must adhere to usage standards that maintain the integrity of the brand. Refer to our logo usage guidelines and FAQs for minimum standards and permitted uses.
These logos are in CMYK color mode with a resolution of 300 DPI for use in print projects. Examples include posters, brochures, magazines, large banners, and promo items. They should not be used for web or digital projects. This download provides the following formats:
- Vector-based file type that can scale up or down without compromising quality
- Can have a transparent background
- Is a supported file type in many programs

- Requires a specialized program such as Adobe Illustrator to view and scale up or down
