Social media template size adjustments

  • Resized the Instagram grid template to the current size (1080 x 1440px) in the InDesign files.
  • Updated horizontal size of social media templates in InDesign files to 1600 x 900px to work on LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.

Inspiration gallery updates

  • Added four new projects to the Inspiration Gallery, including campus building illustrations, a Commencement video, a case study from the Wisconsin School of Business’s 125th Anniversary campaign, and graphic backgrounds.

UW Theme 2.0

  • Migrated the UW–Madison Brand and Visual Identity website from the Classic UW Theme to UW Theme 2.0.

Icon updates

  • Added 25 new icons spanning themes of winter, global connections, administration, and entrepreneurship. 
  • Expanded strokes in Illustrator files to maintain visual appearance of weight regardless of scale.
  • Increased PNG file sizes (artboards are now 500 x 500px) to be more useful for presentations, email, and other applications.

Illustration updates

  • Removed the Máquina Fountain illustration from the Box folder library following the start of construction on the Engineering Building.
  • Expanded strokes in Illustrator files to maintain visual appearance of weight regardless of scale.
  • Increased PNG file sizes (artboards are now 1000px wide) to be more useful for presentations, email, and other applications.
